Gift Joy Entertainment is an entertainment company which seeks to create the spirit of joy within art that reaches and moves the spirit of the people. At its prime and entertainment in Los Angeles has become heavily saturated with monetary and social recklessness, with a disregard for the aesthetic of art at its purest form; creation. With great power comes great responsibility and Gift Joy Entertainment along with its affiliates are assuming the roles to provide premiere music & entertainment at Nola's for an intimate evening of Los Angeles' finest up and coming talent.

Lilliana Villines was born and raised in Los Angeles, finding her fervor in music in middle school. She started out as a singer songwriter and began high school at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts intending to pursue a career as a folk singer songwriter, influenced heavily by 20th century beat poets and folk and blues artists. However, in her second year of high school, she started singing in her school's jazz ensemble and has since been strengthening her skills as a jazz vocalist. She has since been playing gigs with peers in the jazz department and is auditioning for conservatories like Berklee College of Music, New School and USC for jazz as well as songwriting. At Berklee College of Music this summer, Lilliana was one of the winners of the Berklee Five Week Singer Songwriter Competition and got the opportunity to study with renowned folk artists Melissa Ferrick and Sally Taylor. This year, she won an honorable mention award from YoungArts, made it into the semifinal round for Spotlight Auditions, and has received a partial scholarship to Berklee College of Music.

“Uptempo’s How We Keep It,” a successful party from San Francisco is making its debut in Los Angeles. Come join us on the 2nd Thursday of the month as we celebrate the weekday with an eclectic mix of hip-hop, electronic, and soul tunes that will satisfy the music nerds while keeping the dance floor lively.
Started by Bay Area DJ, and musician Kero One with the support of one of San Francisco’s most sought after DJ’s, King Most, “Uptempo’s How We Keep It,” introduced a vibe that kept the house packed for years.
Originally, “Uptempo’s How We Keeps It,” began in 2008, but slowly came to a halt when the careers of the resident DJ’s began to reach new heights. Since his move to L.A, Kero One has rocked parties as the DJ from Paris to Seoul, and has performed on stage with his original music along side the likes of Stevie Wonder, Aloe Blacc and Blu & Exile.
Now with the help of Japan’s DJ tsUgU, Kero One brings the party to Los Angeles while maintaining the party’s tradition of featuring a special guest every month
