About NOLA’s LA

New Orleans is world-famous for its food and the music, particularly, as the birthplace of jazz. NOLA’s was founded with the intention of providing New Orleans cuisine and spirit of jazz to Downtown LA’s Arts District. The spacious, organic, historic site is cool and airy with open high ceilings and a covered back patio.  It has a stage (built with support from SCI-Arc down the street) and a baby grand piano. NOLA’s is not just a restaurant, it’s a place where the arts community of LA with some of the best local jazz musicians can showcase their talents.

We offer two types of entertainment:  live jazz and dj music.  Most of our entertainment is provided free except Friday and Saturday nights when we host major bands to entertain you.  Even on Friday and Saturday nights, we still save many tables and bar area for just dining and lounge guests without entertainment fee. Live jazz starting nightly at 7:30pm and dj music featured Wednesday through Saturday nights starting at 10 pm in addition to New Orleans-style buffet brunches with free-flowing champagne on Sunday — a great way to start the week.  Classic favorites include jambalaya, gumbo, fried chicken, shrimp etoufee, po’boy sandwiches, and beignets.

Our goal is provide you with the best quality music and creole cuisine to the Los Angeles community.
